Hey all!

I just upgraded to a new EX receiver and need a few more banana plugs so I can connect my new speakers to the receiver. The ones I use now I bought at a local high-end store. They are made by Esoteric Audio USA. I think they are called inter-loc banana plugs. You stick the wire through the hole on the bottom and then spread the wires over the top. Then you put the connector back together and the wires get sandwiched between the top and bottom pieces. Does anybody know what I am talking about and where to find these conectors? Any help would be very appreciated. Even a suggestion of another brand would be great. Thanks to all!

Check out Loews home improvemnet stores. They carry Accoustic Research plugs identical to what you described. 4 plugs for $10.

On the more expensive side you have the
excellent Goldmund Banana+.

You can expand the plug so it fits tightly
in receiving connector.

The price is $100 for 4 pcs. here in
Japan so it's probably $50 in the US.
(No kidding, this is the way the "free market" works.)

I use the WBT banana plugs, which also expand for better contact. The best price I found was through UHF magazine's web page (the prices are in Canadian,so discout accordingly).
