Anubis - are you an Egyptian (god)?

I can answer your first q - on Actis remote, pg 2/5 bottom left has Surround parameter button - you could teach that to another remote.

Can't help with other two . . .

First I like to say that this receiver is AWESOME!! But I do have a couple Q's that I hope somebody out there can help me with.

1. Is there an easier way to switch the rear speakers between EX, non-mtrx, and off? The quickest way I know of is through the surround param. function. Anybody know of a direct remote button?

2. Second, is there a way to find out what speakers are active? I kinda miss the 5700's speaker LED's.

3. Third, does anybody know if the 5700's remote works on this unit. I actually like that remote better then the Aktis.

Thanks for all your help! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Use the 5/7 button

Use the Status button, personally I like the Pioneer logical LED layout, but this is just too intuitive for the flagship receivers

Try it!!!! I think my CCF for Pronto started out as a 5700 (there are a few buttons not on the Aktis.
