Is there a big difference in sound quality between the Speakercraft AIM Three series and Five series? I'm probably going to go with the AIM LCR 5's or AIM Cinema 5's due to a good deal I'll be able to get on Speakercraft.
Thanks.

Big difference is in the ear of the listener. But I say yes. Better clarity, smoother highs, fuller midrange. JMO

Mazer, I love your theater and thanks for the advice. I will need to go in ceiling for my side surrounds and can do on wall for the rear surrounds. Would you recommend cinema dipoles for the rear surrounds and maybe an AIMwide for the side surrounds?
Thanks

I have not auditioned the Wide series yet. They are supposed to give a diffused sound field like a di-pole speaker. If you can mount the Cinema in-walls not higher then 24" above ear level, that sounds like the way to go.
