I'm looking to setup my front speakers (L/C/R) with either Mythos 10 or Millenia 30. I have listened to Def Mythos tower and they seem nice. But I was not able to audition either the Mythos 10 or Millenia 30.

I would love to go for the towers but don't have the space for it.... So only on-wall.

These speakers seem very much alike in their specs..... So which do you think is better - Def Mythos 10 or Para Millenia 30?

The pricing for both also seems to be the same.

The Receiver that I have bought is Denon 4308ci.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Didn't audition Mythos, but did audition Paradigm Millenia and Cinema. Found the Cinema 330 to be equal or better sounding than the Millenia 30, and the Cinema is less expensive. DT and Paradigm, both make excellent speakers, so IMO, both are good options.

johnpriya, did you make a decision on these? I also was looking between these 2 sets of speakers for my LCR.

Resurrecting an old thread, but would appreciate advice. Can anybody comment about A/B'ing the Millenia 30 and Mythos 10 in the same room?

On paper, I had my mind set on the Millenia 30 as a center (with either 30s or 300s as L/R). But I was a bit disappointed by center channel performance (had the guy turn off all other channels) in a demo room that's about the size of my living room. The dialogue of The Bourne Identity seemed muffled.

Unfortunately, I had to demo the Mythos 10 at a different store (so different source material and equipment and the room was probably 2-4 feet larger in H/W/D from the Millenia dealer's room). The Mythos (again listened to as a center channel only) seemed to have a broader soundstage and sounded better than the Millenia 30 (albeit watching Harry Potter and Dave Matthews' Radio City).

I suppose I could buy both and A/B in my room, but I'd appreciate any thoughts of actual users.

Thanks.
