I have the same speakers except I have 2 of the H-100 subs instead of the PL-200. I am using Monster Cable Mark II banana plugs on all of the speakers except the subs which require a RCA type subwoofer connection cable the same as the PL-200. Hope that helps.

Nope. Everything is presently in storage. I had this sectional with a curved console behind it for the rears, and the lamps for left and right surrounds. Come to think of it, I may have been using different surrounds on the lamps.

Hi.
New to speaker world. One thing that intrigued me about the PL-89 were the reviews on how efficient they ran. Those who have tried out the PL-890 are they just as efficient or do they need more power to drive them? TIA

Picked up a PL-200 just to hold things over on the bottom end while I recover from replacing the top side of my HT.

Very surprised and pleased with the pl-200 for the price! Lots of fun and plenty of output for my 16x16 room. Very good buy for the price point.

Have not searched in depth but does anyone have any posted modifications to this sub for better performance? Polyfill vs the stock fiberglass batting? Or anything else?

All - I've recently purchased and installed the following BIC Acoustech:
2 PL-980 front towers
1 PL-28II center
2 PL-66 surrounds
1 PL-200 subwoofer (still on backorder)

My old setup was 7.1 with JBL speakers so would like to find an alternate to my old 2 surround rears. Since those two are on pedestals behind the couch, using PL-66 would be too big. What alternatives would you suggest? I was thinking of using the little BIC Venturi DV32.

Any thoughts to take my current 5.1 setup to 7.1?

Except for the PL-66's you have the 'newer' versions of my set-up except I have 2 PL-200's. I have a 7.2 set-up but I do use PL-66's as my rear and side surrounds. The sides 'rest' on speaker pedestals from my Aperion speakers previously used. I love my set-up so you should be loving yours too!

Hello all,
I have the old accoustech speakers, HT-88 and H-85. I want to upgrade to the pl-980 and pl-28ii. Would this be a major upgrade or should I go with Klipsch reference rf82ii?

Thank you

Hi guys,

I am new to the BIC speakers and I am currently looking for a decent home theater system mainly for movies and PS3/4 gaming. What do you think of this package?

http://www.sounddistributors.com/buy...stech+Speakers

Will I get a plenty of bass with one subwoofer, or should I go to 5.2 package?

http://www.sounddistributors.com/buy...stech+Speakers

Thanks
Mak

The 5.2 package will knock your socks off!

You can get the same setup from Acoustic Sound Design for a bit less.

I ordered my PL-28II center and my PL-200II sub from them and I'm very pleased.

I accidentally ran across the image in one of BICs parent directories while searching for images of binding posts.. It may be a photo-shopped concept image for a future design. Only BIC knows, but I found it interesting, nonetheless.
