Would appreciate any comments comparing these two units. Both seem to have the next generation electronics for both audio and video processing and are priced similar.
Thanks

There are some differences.

Pioneer has Faroudja DCDi processor and Integra has HQV Reon I think. There is debate as to whether a video processor in a receiver should even be used vs just native passthru and allow your TV to do the final processing to it's native resolution.

The potential biggest difference to me is the 1 HDMI output from the Pioneer and 2 HDMI outputs from the Integra. But so far I can't get a straight answer from Integra Customer Service as to whether BOTH of the HDMI outputs are active at the same time. I would really like to see a AVR or Pre-Pro that sends out signals to 2 different TV's at the same time.

Both are NOT active at the same time...it's one or the other.
