I found some older forum discussions concerning this issue. I was hoping someone could provide me with some up-to-date suggestions.

I need a receiver for my kitchen. It's going to sit on an upper cabinet, so it needs to be under 12 inches in depth. I have two speakers in the ceiling and two speakers outside that the receiver needs to power. I'd like to have a tuner, ipod hook up and tv connection. Ideas? I'd love to find something stylish.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply. Earlier conversations had a Sherwood receiver at 10" SHERWOOD R-903, but I can't find one for sale anywhere. Also discussed was the ParaSound system. These discussions were from Jan 2007, so I just thought maybe there were other things that were on the market now.
