As I stated in the 806/706 thread, I think you need to compare Audyssey's Dynamic EQ, not Dynamic Volume, to THX Loudness Plus. The description for the 2 technologies is identicle.
This is the description of THX Loudness Plus from their website: "With THX Loudness Plus, home theater audiences can now experience the rich details and ambient sound in a surround mix at any volume level."
This is the description of Dynamic EQ from Audyssey's website: "As you turn the volume up and down, Audyssey's Dynamic EQ maintains consistent bass response, tonal balance and surround impression"
The description of Dynamic Volume... "Set the volume you want. Audyssey Dynamic Volume keeps it there . . . Hands Free Listening is finally here, eliminating the annoyance of constantly changing the volume on the remote control"
Dynamic EQ was one of the things I really liked the idea of though, much more than Dynamic Volume, so I would really like to hear more discussion of Dynamic EQ vs THX Loudness Plus.
