Yes. with the SC-07 you have a choice of HDMI OUT 1, HDMI OUT 2, or HDMI OUT ALL. This is particularly convenient if you have a projector along with a display

page 100 SC-07 manual

The same is valid on the SC-25/27 (see page 94 of the SC-25/27 manual)

I use my 07 in the "All" mode all the time. I use different HDMI inputs on my display so that I can have separate Custom modes for Blu-Ray and DirecTV. Works great, and there is no delay when switching (other than the usual HDCP handshake nonsense).

The other answers are correct, but I should add one piece of information here. You cannot feed one HDMI out with audio to speakers and the second HDMI out with audio through the HDMI at the same time. You can do either and you have manually switch.

For video you can have both sources receive video (same source) at the same time. You can get a different source of video through the component and using zone 2

I will ad this

Gov.....very NICE! If I ever get rid of my KURO, a Panny will be the first panel I look at. Can't see that happening anytime in the foreseeable future, however.

How's the Phoenix holding up?

After about a month, minie broke in very nicely. I'm done on the subwoofer front for quite some time, too.

Matter of fact, I'm not sure what, if anything, I'd swap out of my setup right now. I thought about an OPPO BD player, but I've been please with the BDP51 since I got all of the FW updates in place.

Hope you're well.

Nah, we all say that, Perp..

I still smile when I turn on my reciever or my display or hear something I didn't hear before on some music.. and I still go WOW!!

Then we see another sparkly!

Then it's "just one more thing"......

I'm still considering those buttkickers like Chris has.....
or that really cool new remote, or that seaton, or that projector, or or..
well, just one more thing, and that's all I need... really

Oh yeah. Actually, I'm where GG is right now. Have been there for a couple of months. Can't even think of anything for my Christmas list (well, nothing anyone I know could afford. )

I have no idea how long this state of contentment will last, but past history says it will be transitory.

So, you have absolutely no desire, craving, lust, or hunger for something like say SC-05/07's bigger sister?

CHP and Macfan,
Thanks for your advice. I was truly perplexed by the fact the MCACC would drive the sub, but it wouldn't work with any other media or input. I got it working again by using the age old fix of unplugging the receiver for 10 minutes and plugging it back in.
I wish I had tried that before the 2,539 other fixes I attempted. In fact, unplugging the beast was the last thing I tried before taking it to the shop.
Horror averted!!!!
Thanks again to everyone who makes this forum so relevant.

Well... that's where my parenthetical statement applies. I try not to even think about things that are totally out of reach, like a Mercedes S-Class, Kate Beckinsale, or an SC-09!

ottoodor;

Again it's those little things that can drive you crazy!
When all else fails, try the reset/unplug/reboot trick.

Main thing is you got it working! That's great!
Enjoy and thanks for following up.

Have fun!

I still blame you guys for my recent spate of "upgrade-itis". I came in here, asking some simple questions. I end up replacing almost my entire HT.

On top of that, I've got a 1/2 finished DIY wooden wall unit sitting in my garage unit that won't see light of day until next Spring. And, there's a bunch of orphaned A/V gear sitting in an overflowing junk closet.

It all started by tripping into this thread.

GG....I love my Phoenix and I, like you are no longer looking at anything else in the subwoofer world for now

I got an Oppo 83 about a month ago and it is FANTASTIC!!!! Highly recommended!

As Chris said earlier, when my Sony CRT RPTV began to puke I wasted no time getting the V10. If I had deep pockets, I would have gotten the Kuro 60 inch, but the price on the V10 was to good to pass up!

Quickest way if you don't have a website is:
Click the tab on the very very top of the screen (above the banners): Theater Gallery
Then on the blue bar just above <<>> on the right hand side, click Upload Photos
The rest should self explanatory, but any problems, post, someone will help

Another way is hit "GO ADVANCED" on the reply to post and Manage attachments.

Well, without some sort of blind test it would be difficult to test my recent experience. I have hooked up my L/C/R/Rears to my SC-05. I listened to that setup for a couple months before putting Adcom amps to drive the fronts and rears. I made every effort to be objective however in the end I do feel like through the Adcoms the sound became louder quicker and even though the two power amps rated are differently, the Adcoms seemed louder than the ICE at their peak levels. That could all be in my head though. When I ran the center channel through a B&K ST260, I wasn't expecting to hear much of a difference. And I didn't right away. However over the next couple of days I started to realize that the information coming out of the center channel was less harsh but crisper if that makes sense. It seemed that sound was less fatiguing and more defined than when it was run through the Pio. Dialog was easily discernible during loud passages whereas before (in comparison) it was less so. Even my wife noticed the difference and she didn't know I had changed the amps.

I don't really know 100% though, the power of the mind is beyond our imagination and I could be hearing, even partially, what I expect or want to hear, consciously and sub-consciously.
