MY FIRST POST. I have a NAD t744 reciver thinking of upgrading. Using B&W DM603 S3 floorstand, B&W LCR600 S3 center & unknown surround speakers. If I upgrade what whould be a reciver that will maximiz these speakers. New or old models just some ideas.

It would be helpful if your could list your budget, the features you want, percent audio vs. movies you will use the receiver for, etc....
Then folks can give you better recommendations.

Do you like the B&W's and how they sound with the NAD?
Are you upgrading for HDMI and features or because you don't like the sound of the two together?

Wow, if I had a budget that went that high, I would look at the Onkyo 876 or the 906 (about $400 more) if you want the streaming internet radio. Both have the better Reon processor for Video. Audio on both is also supposed to be superb.

I just sold my paradigm monitor 9 v5 and pick up the B&W's and love the sound and style. Sounds really good with the NAD but I need more power. I dont know if I should upgrade or just add an amp to the setup. I rather have a bigger reciver, then an amp with more wires. Im trying not to spend that much money. IF I CAN FIND A OLDER RECIVER THAT WILL BE GREAT. My brother has the 604 s2 B&W's he just upgraded with the ARCAM AVR280 and wow they sound amazing the differnce from NAD-ARCAM was crazy. Dont get me wrong NAD sound really good too. I went to a audio-video store and told me about this form LOVE it. They had a Rotel RSX-1058 for 899.99 but dont have much info on Rotel. Dont need HDMI.

If you dont need to upgrade to HDMI, I would seriously look at adding an outboard amp. Maybe the new Rotel 15 series digital amps or something along those lines.
