I have used this receiver for around a year and it seems like I need to crank it to 50 just to hear everything anymore. I watch a movie and the talking is too low and the explosions are too loud. I have tried all the different fields (stereo, dolby, dts, etc) and it just seems like I need to crank it loud in order to use it. i don't know if I hit some button or if it is just going bad but it is very annoying. I used the optical out and now I use the composite out and I get the same problems. Thanks.

rerun the Audyssey calibration program. Maybe your channel levels changed.
