I'm experincing an issue when I connect my apple tv (4th generation) into my HDMI 1 port and I can only stream 480p even though I set manually to 1080p into apple's tv settings. My playstation connected to the HDMI 5 streams 1080p normally. Have you guys noticed or heard anything like that?
You could try setting it to bypass video. I do this for my Blu-ray player, but you do lose the menu overlays. The only one I really miss is the volume on the screen.
I had a thought this evening, could I burn them to DVD and play them on my blu-ray player connected to AVR via HDMI? Is there a high resolution format I could burn to the DVD for this?
So I have been playing around with burning DVD-Audio disc's using lplex. So far this seems to work, and my HK AVR3600 reports 96khz audio coming from the player. I have configured my blu-ray player to bitstream audio over HDMI.
Moved my 3600 from pc audio duty to living room surround receiver and now I don't have audio in bypass mode, any ideas what it could be? I looked at a ton of settings, and couldn't figure it out. Works fine without bypassing, but I like using bypass so the video has no processing at all.
