In this increasingly network connected world, I find it quite cool that I can control my Denon AVR-3310CI from a web browser. It makes doing Internet Radio much easier, especially keyword input on searches.
There's a big problem with the iPhone interface though, and I'm wondering if anyone has a solution.
When using the iPhone web interface and clicking through to the Search by Keyword area, no text field appears. On the AVR front panel display I can see the "text search" box appear, and pressing the buttons on the iPhone makes the letters scroll, but obviously this is very sub-optimal compared to the freeform text input on the regular web interface where you can type something out. Try typing in "Christmas" when you have your iPhone in one hand, your eyes on the 3310 front panel display, and no force feedback for if you're pressing the right area on the screen!
I tried updating my firmware to the latest (which actually just broke things more... Now if the Screen Saver is active, the web interface on any device doesn't work right.. I had to disable the Screen saver all together)
Any one have any clues?
I tried to find a Denon Bug report, but all I could find was a "call us during regular business hours for support" phone number, but I'm not at home during the "regular business hours" so that's not really a good option.
