Watching tv OTA instead of cable. Only tv spkrs work

Why can I only get sound from speakers when watching OTA channels ? ARC is on. Is there something else ?

I have one hdmi out to tv. ALso a Panny 65 blu ray player connected to 667 with hdmi.

Hi Avgguy, for ARC (Audio Return Channel) to work both TV and AVR has to support ARC. If the TV doesn't support ARC you'll need to connect an optical cable from TV (Digital Audio Out) to receiver to pass audio.

Thank you for the quick response. It's a 2009 Panny 46S1 so I don't vbelieve it supports ARC.
