I'm sorry... You did initially reference a "repair." I was just chiming in that we had a similar issue. We purchased a new receiver, never did try the repair route...

Ah.... I'm going to see if repairing is an option. I was sincerely hoping it's something common and easy to fix. Hopefully someone who may have had the same issue and repaired it might chime in.
