Hallo everybody,

I am Ben from Holland and I am a tube amp DIYer, just started my 5.1 tube amp. This forum is not much for DIYers , I am afraid. Well, if anybody is interested in building one of the finest amplifiers around, please drop me a private message.

All the best from Holland

What's a 5.1 amp out of curiosity? If it can power a subwoofer, wouldn't it be a six channel amp?

"But this one goes up to 11"

Looks like a 2 channel amp to me. I have never heard a tube amp before and it would be interesting to hear these on my top sections which are 113 dB's at 1 watt. Right now I am using Behringer ep-4000's and they are silent and sound awesome. Very clean and they have 550 watts per channel, basically the opposite end of tube amps.

AVR-Yamaha A830
amps-5 Adcom 555 in 850 watt monoblock mode
sub amp-Sanway FP14K
LCR-Dual stacked BFM DR-250's
Surrounds- Dual stacked BFM W10's
subs-12 SI 18's ported 6hz.
