Splitting audio and video?

Here is what I would like to do with my 4311.... have the audio output be from one source, while the video output to the Monitor HDMI output be from another source.

Why? Welllll.... here is the set up. I run everything through my 4311. Blu-Ray, Cable box, Apple Airport Express (analog audio)...

Say I'm thowing a party and want to output the audio from my Airport Express to my Main Zone and Zone 2, but yet I want to have video from the Blu-Ray player output to the HDMI Mon. output.

Ala.... running modern surf music over the audio, whilst viewing old surf movies on the TV.

anyway to set this up?

You can either connect the video source straight to the TV or connect the video source with a set of component video cables to the AVR and use the Video Select setting to select the audio source.

You see, there is the trick... I've got everything routed through my 4311 and dont want to have to pull cables and re-route things when I want to do this.

My Blu-ray player only has one HDMI output, or i would have already just used a 2nd hmdi cable direct to the TV, swithced inputs on the TV and bingo. buuutttt.... only 1 hdmi output.

will have to dig into the "video Select" options and see... but thats a start anyway.
