I purchased my AVR-1912 used about a year ago. I Finally got around to purchasing some speakers and have calibrated them using Audrssey. Now I'm trying to fine tune the system and I've deter I have the wrong remote. I have a RC-1147 and the manual says I need a RC-1156. I seem to be missing the Movie, Music, Game, Direct on my remote. Should I consider buying a new remote to get my system dialed in?

Yup, as you'll want access to those buttons, although you can also just purchase a Harmony remote and download the AVR's remote codes (as well as other device remote codes too).

The harmony 900 rocks IMHO!!! You might hear people talk about range issues but it ultimately depends on proper placement of the receiver. Keep it away from all other radio signals and power cords. I run mine in two separate rooms to control two separate systems.
