So, went and bought a Parasound 5250v2 amp and will place this in the console as well. My question.......the entire back of the console is open and the front center is covered with audio cloth ( about 28" x 12" for the center channel speaker). Do I need to be concerned about ventalation??
If there is at least 3-4" clearance above the amp, it should be fine. Note however, that you're in the Denon XX12 Owner's thread.

This week, they assured me that a fix was coming.

After a brief evaluation tonight of a title affected by the DD+/Netflix issue, it appears that this firmware update resolves the problem!

The update took approximately 4 minutes. Good luck!
Took me 4 mins as well. Went smoothly. Didn't notice any difference. I rolled the dice as well. I figured worst case scenario I would brick the system and be forced to get a new one.

Manual Setup and Graphic EQ are two different features.

Sorry, I mean MultEQ XT:Manual, which is linked to Manual EQ (Graphic EQ) with 63Hz / 125Hz / 250Hz / 500Hz / 1kHz / 2kHz / 4kHz / 8kHz / 16kHz adjustment

AVR-2112ci new firmware update - March 5, 2015

It has been a long time since there was a firmware update for this model but there was one that just occurred today (March 5, 2015). Anyone know what the changelog is?

Although I have not been able to obtain a change log from D&M, most likely it resolves the distortion issue resulting from Netflix DD+.

Ah ... then yes, Audyssey and Graphic EQ are indeed bypassed. Better to use a calibrated test tone disc for more accurate results if checking with an SPL meter.
