I'm still rocking my Pair of Sennheiser HD555's....And I'm really getting sick and tired of the wire. Not to mention the headphones, along with the strap are completely
cracked to the point where I've had to use super glue and tape to hold it together, plus the Wire has been pulled out a bit revealing the wires which has slightly effected the sound quality
if it's moved ever so slightly. Of course the wire can be replaced for cheap....But like i said, i'm tired of the wire and the headphones themselves are cracked.

Anyways, which Wireless Sennheiser headphones are on par with the HD555's or mildy better for that matter? Here is the list of Wireless Sennheiser Headphones below.

I'm curious how the RS170 stacks up against the HD555 especially...

Am I in the wrong forum or what? I can't seem to find a specific forum on the site that's includes home theatre headphones in the mix.

Anyways, would love to here some feedback.
Not only if the Wireless models are on par, but the pro's and con's of using wireless headphones all togther.

Can't speak for the RS-170s, but I use the older RS-140s and thoroughly enjoy them especially with the simulated surround audio from an analog connection. I especially like that I can pass the audio to Zone 2 with my headphones set up as my Zone 2 speakers such that I can listen to one source while another source plays in the main zone. It's also nice to be able to walk around the house with them as I don't have a whole house audio system.

Send a PM to DenPureSound as I believe he purchased the RS-170's a few months back.
