We are setting up a new mixer. It is a small 12 port mixer -> two amps -> two front speakers, monitor, and sub woofer. We are setting the monitor up on aux1 and I was thinking about setting the subwoofer up on aux2, but I believe that may be wrong since we would be sending all frequencies to the subwoofer and not just the low frequencies. What we are after is the ability to turn up the subwoofer (bass) for an individual channel. Is this best done by just adjusting the low frequencies up on the mixer for than channel? What output from the mixer should be sent to the subwoofer? Thanks for your help.
