I am finally starting to upgrade my home theater system after quite some years. Thanks to this site I've decided on a TV. Now I am looking to get a receiver. I want to spend around $500 to $550. I would love to find a good one that has an RF remote. Because on the other side of the wall where my receiver will be is my patio. I have speakers out there that run to my receiver. But I cant control the volume from outside. Is there a surround sound receiver out there that has an RF remote? And will it work for my application?

Just an option here but you may want to look into a Harmony RF remote as then you can contol more than just the AV as well. ( once you purchase the right receiver you want)

I did read about the Harmony. I think it was the 880 or 890. Yeah that may be my best option.
With that being said, is there a receiver/receivers that stand out in the 500.00-550.00 range? Currently I have the Bose cubed speakers if that matters in decision making on receivers.

You aren't finding a RF remote on a receiver, especially not one at $500.

http://www.amazon.com/Next-Generatio...1443430&sr=1-1 (there is your RF)
