whats up everyone! just joined, just found out about this site, looks awesome!

i have an old, but in great condition, Pioneer Stereo amplifer and the model is "SA-720." i got it from my grandfather after he passed away. the manual was no where to be found though......im wondering if this amp has 720watts in it?? (assuming from the name "SA-720"). its loud as heck, i can even turn it to the number 1 notch! it has 2 speakers, they are called "Technics."

i have no idea about any of the speakers or amp so i was wondering if anyone could help me out with the wattage and if i could somehow find a manual to DL possibly?

its loud and clear, but i was thinking of adding a sub-woofer but im not sure which wattage to get for the sub cause i dont know the wattage on this amp...

1) buy a POWERED subwoofer (amplifier built-in)
2)make sure the powered sub has 'speaker level inputs'

It doesn't matter, sub Amps go from 100 All the way up
to 1000! Good Range is 100 to 300. Depends on size of sub etc.
Ask in subwoofer forum. they'll need a $budget and your Room size.
Some decent subs can be had for $300 or less.

Don't forget, powered sub (amp is built-in)
and speaker level inputs!!!

That Polk is a pretty good sub. It should work fine for you.
RMS-too technical for me to explain-Google it,if you can understand
you are brighter than I am.

Just regular speaker wire. the Pioneer doesnt have sub out.
speaker wire from pioneer to sub,sub to speakers.
If you get the sub it will have more detailed instructions.
