I really need several replies within the next hour before i pull the trigger. i been waiting to get a receiver for my upstart ht system.

newegg has
rx a810 for 799 + 250 gift card= 549 free shipping
rx v671 for 549+150 gift card= 399 free shipping
rx a1000 for 524 free shipping

rx v871 out of stock

reviews for the 671 are really great but no preout and not able to upgrade later
not many reviews for a810 because its fairly new but a step over the 871 i think.

the a1000 is last years series 20 less than a810

this will be for just a regular size living room not a big ht room. i think i want the ability to have two subs but i like the v671. im leaning toward the a810 for the better quality build

i dont have them yet but i think i will be getting the klipsch 52ii speakers so i want enough power.

whats the best bang for my buck here? is the adventage series that much better than the rx v series?

If you are willing to wait the best deal going has been the rxa3000. It has been selling for about $140 more than the 810 (sorry no gift card with this one). The receiver is an amazing value for the price. Can't guarantee that Newegg will put it back on sale but check owners thread and you will see that everybody raves about it including me. It is a great receiver, way more bang for the buck.
