I cannot seem to find the answer to this in all my google/AVS searches.

I have Tivo HD, XBox 360, PS3, Comcast etc. (Everything has HDMI and Optical out both)

My current Pioneer receiver has an HDMI Switch BUT does not output optical audio or audio over the HDMI output.

I am looking for one of the following, wonder if there are suggestions?

1. A Receiver that has a 4 or 5 HDMI input switch AND strips audio onto optical (so I can go to my wireless headphones).

2. A receiver that has 4/5 HDMI input switch AND passes Audio over the HDMI output (if so I could use something like this from Octava):
octavainc.com/HDMI%201x1%20Audio%20Converter.html

Option 1 would be ideal and would simplify my setup immensely...

My only other options would be to use another device for HDMI Switching that also does optical output...
(not sure how reliable these Octava products are?)
octavainc.com/HDMI%20switch%204port_toslink.html
or
octavainc.com/HDMI%20switch%20splitter_5x2_toslink.html

Thank you for any help, I really appreciate any suggestions and feedback!

Most will pass audio via the HDMI output if you select that option in setup.

Thank you, I should have mentioned, I have looked at a lot of Receivers and most (if not all) do not mention passing Audio via HDMI or stripping out audio to optical.

OR

They do mention it and I do not know due to the description used in the tech specs...

Specific receiver suggestions would be great, ie, Denon Model xyz or Pioneer Model xyz?

Seems that most Denon do this but only high end Pioneers?
