Recently my Marantz SR3053 front Display disaapeared on me, graudually. For 2 days, the display was dim, on the 3rd day, it went completely blank. However, while fiddling with all possible buttons, the display came back, full power, for about 3 secs and disappeared again.

Do you know if it is a technical or setting problem?

Did you try a full reset of the receiver? Unplug it for a few seconds and plug it back in. If that didn't fix it, try holding down SURROUND MODE and CLEAR together for three seconds. It'll erase all of your settings though.

Thanks, JBWIII. I have tried your suggested method or unplugging and plugging, followed by SURROUND+CLEAR. I can hear the relay clicks of resetting but still no display. All other functions are working fine. Or is there another way to see the display? Do you think SR3053 has OSD?

Not sure. Check out the manual under the "Downloads" tab here:

Thanks for your useless advise. Now I have no LCD, and all settings lost, and can't see screen to correct.
