Not sure which forum to put this in, but here's my question.
I recently discovered singsnap.com, which is a great karaoke website. I now want to hook my computer to a mixer, add some mic channels, hook it all to my home theater preamp and create a home karaoke system. Seems doable, but I'm not sure if the plan I have in mind will work.
I discovered the well regarded Yamaha MG82cx mixer. Can I just run a headphone jack to RCA out of my computer to an input on the mixer, plug in a couple of mics to the mixer, run an RCA out from the mixer to an input on my preamp and be off to the races? Is it more complicated than I realize?
