I am having trouble with the auto audyssey setup.
I have def tech speakers. I set the bp3000. c/l/r 3000, and rears bp2000 to large. When I run the auto audyssey setup it changes the rears to small. Would it be better to set these to large since they have a sub?

Also audyssey has a problem with the center phase. What should I do to correct, or find out the problem. I have searched the forums, and some have had problems with audyssey and bi-polar speakers.

If you are using an additional stand alone sub in your setup, then you'll want to set ALL speakers to SMALL with 60hz or 80hz crossovers. If you do not have dedicated sub, and are connecting your front mains with the LFE sub preout (suggested), then you can set them to either LARGE or SMALL. Note that prior to running AUTO SETUP, all speaker settings are ignored, however, you can change them after running AUTO SETUP. As long as the speakers are confirmed to be wired correctly (+/+ and -/-) then just SKIP the phase warning as noted in your owner's manual.

Also note there is a dedicated Denon XX12 Owner's thread linked in my sig. Review posts #3-6 for more information and join us in that thread for additional questions.
