Whats the best price so far I read here that by calling E&E u can get the 2112 for 450 shipped.

So whats the best price from E&E regarding the 3312? Want to make sure that when i call i get the same price/deal. I hate finding out i paid more then the next guy to do lack of research.

The 3312 is running for 699 on a refurb from AA4Less.

I read here that some one got a 3312 for 600 even shipped and new but i cant find the link/post or site

Thanks in Advance,

So if someone got it for $600 shipped a few months back and you're being offered $610 shipped would you complain?

I think I'd jump on that $610 deal. the $10 difference might be because you're in SoCal and the other person may have been on the East Coast.

When I saw E&E I looked at Electronics Expo but they had the 3312 listed at MSRP, do they really knock off 40% if you call them ?

Will you miss the extra money the 3312 costs two weeks from now ?
If no, pay the extra $$ and don't look back.

Question, does this receiver have multi channel outs. Reviews state it doesn't but I thought I saw pictures where it does have them. I'm looking to replace my Onkyo 705 and I use this with my Pioneer blu-ray player.

I just looked the 3312 up and it is $1098? Unless you are looking at refurbs or open boxes, you are not getting a new 3312 for $600 bucks!

Question, does this receiver support multi-channel out. I need that for my setup. I'm looking to replace my Onkyo 705 in my theater and want this technology.

It looks like the OP got a quote for the 2312 and not the 3312. The 3312 is $830 while the 2312 is $610 shipped.

I received these same prices. I'm getting ready to jump on a 3312. Can the OP confirm what prices he actually received?

Yes, the 3312CI is the only Denon XX12 model with a full set of preouts which you can see by looking at post #1 in the XX12 Owner's thread linked in my sig.

~$600 on the 3312 sounded to good to be true but hey, I have seen other things offered up at smoking good deals.

Well...........I've been reading this section of the board for over a year - up until recently pretty much gravitating to the Pioneer SC-55/57 thread. Then I started reading the Denon xx12 thread. After I couldn't decide whether to get the Pioneer or Denon, then I narrowed it down to the 2312ci and 3312ci. After I found this thread, you guys gave me the heads up on a great price for the 3312ci and that's all I needed. Called up EE like you recommended, talked to Dave (who really knows his stuff about consumer electronics) and I pulled the trigger on the 3312. Surprised that this authorized dealer could go that low, but I 'stole' the receiver for $830 shipped from Joysey to Cali. Can't beat that with a stick!

Thanks again for the heads-up you guys. And thanks for the extensive knowledge throughout the Denon thread, Jdsmoothie!

Ok, here is some math. $830 delivered, subtract shipping, maybe $800ish? If MSRP is $1100, then that's a 28% discount. In mass market receivers that's a fair deal, not spectacular. Most times dealers are prevented from advertising other than MSRP. Im guessing dealer discounts are on the order of 45%, don't fell sorry for them!

No subwoofer I've heard has been able to produce the bass I've experienced in the Corps!

Must..stop...buying...every bluray release...

Here's some math for you:

Best Buy. Denon 3312 - MSRP $1,100 plus 8.25% sales tax = $1,190. They won't budge but will price match if I find a better price within a 10 mile radius. No dice. So I call EE and they sold me the receiver for $830.00 shipped. Savings = $360.00 = spectacular deal for me.

It is my belief based on aggressively price shopping for several different AVRs for both me and family members that EE works on very thin margins, at least regarding Denon AVRs. If there is a better deal out there, I bet it ain't by much. So, congrats on the purchase, and enjoy!

$830 seems like a reasonable enough price.
At least it is in line with other AVRs (after discounts) that are at the same point in the line up.
The questionable/misleading posts about price quotes were from socal swagger.
