Hi Guys

I have an Harmon Kardon AVR 265.

I've noticed some ringing/harshness on the front right speaker when playing back certain high frequencies.

This has been noticed with the ez Speaker setup (auto-calibration using the supplied microphone) and with the signal fires sequence in the extended LOTR Return of the King DTS-HD MA blu-ray disc (Disc 1 1h01min approximately).

Swapped the two front speakers, the problem remained with the front right. Swapped the cables for the front two speakers and the problem emanated from the front left (i.e. front left is now connected to the front right port on the AVR).

Before I take it back to the dealer is there anything I should check for?

Strange, sounds like an amplifier issue..
Note that the 265 is a Euro model..

Just my $0.02...

Nm. Rerunning the calibration resolved the issue.
