Hey guys, quick question, has anyone done surround on their deck for music only and if so do you think it it much better than 2 channel?

Thanks

4 speaker stereo with crossed speakers usually works best for such situations. You get a pretty good 360 degree sound field out of it.

You get more speakers available. Might work well with all-channel stereo or a music mode. Most people wouldn't want to dedicate a whole 5.1 receiver to a deck (probably use a second zone for that), but it would work.

Don't believe everything on the Interwebz! A duck's quack DOES echo!

Yeah, I am going to get a new avr and am trying to decide if I want to dedicate one outside or just go 7.2 and use 2 channel zone 2 for the deck. I only use 2 channel for the tv a new 7.2 would power.
