I looked at the "Official" Audyssey thread FAQ, but it didn't have this information.

I am looking for recommendations on recievers (esp. those that have preouts for a separate amp) that have MultEQ XT or MultEQ XT32. Refurbished is ok. I looked through Audyssey's list and there are a number of brands so it gets confusing. For example, I was considering the Denon AVR-2112CI but it didn't appear to have preouts.

I am brand agnostic, but would welcome recommendations on specific models.

Thanks!

Here's some info about Denon receivers and their differences:

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

The lowest models with preouts would be: Denon (3312CI), Marantz (6006), and Onkyo (709), don't know about Integra.

Call for pricing on Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Klipsch, Def Tech, Oppo, Parasound
** Think the AVR is defective?  Reset the microprocessor 4-5 times.

All of the receivers listed above have Audyssey MultEq XT. Not sure what your budget is but you may want to look into receivers that have XT32. XT32 is a very noticeable improvement over normal XT. My last receiver had normal XT, which I was very happy with. I recently upgraded to one with XT32 and couldn't believe my ears: bigger sound stage, tighter imaging, significantly increased high frequency detail, deeper tighter bass. These improvements are very noticeable in music and movies.

Here are the models that have preamp outs along with Audyssey version.

Denon:
- 3311/12 - XT
- 4311/12 - XT32

Marantz
- 6006 and up - XT

Integra
- 30.3 - 2EQ
- 40.3 & 50.3 - XT
- 70.3 & up - XT32

Onkyo Current Model Line (x09)
- 709 to 1009 - XT
- 3009 and up - XT32

Onkyo Recently Announced - Not sure on availability
- 717 - 2EQ
- 818 - XT32

I was budgeting around $1000. However if the XT32 is a noticeable improvement then I would take a closer look at it. Thanks for the heads up.

You should check out the Onkyo TX-NR818 then. It's not available yet so I don't know what pricing will be but the Onkyo 8xx models are normally right around the $1000 price point.

kma100 -
Currently the Onkyo 818 would be the lowest priced AVR with XT32.

There is no 4312CI and the Marantz 6006 is the highest model of 2011 models released.

Denon 4311 from electronics expo. Call them, I'm sure you will get a good deal.
