im installing a cinema system for a guy and have hit a problem, maybe someone can help with, firstly i'll explain the set up.

Sources: Apple TV & Mac Mini
Speakers: 5 in-wall speakers wired back to amplifier
Display: LED Projector (hdmi wired from projector back to amplifier)

so i connect the 2 sources via hdmi 1 & 2 on the amplifier, i then connect the hdmi cable from the projector to the amplifier (hdmi output)
I also connect up all speakers into the correct locations FL/FC/FR & L/R & Subwoofer.

But when i turn on all sources and then boot the amplifier i get no pic or audio?? I only get static when i go onto the stero/radio and select surround sound.
I've selected the input i want to view but get no video on the projector either

Funny Thing is when i connect the apple tv and Mac Mini direct to the hdmi cable from the projector and remove the amp from the equation i get picture

Is there something im doing wrong??? Really Appreciate some help
