Update: Setup the Denon 3808, so far sounds great! I notice some details and imaging I never picked up on the Panasonic.
I do need some help on base management. I ran the Audyssey EQ setup and it auto set my sub at -7dB and crossover at 80Hz. I used the mid level audio setting (10 on a 20 scale) on my sub as recommended and set phase to 0.
The base is almost non-existent in movies and music. I had to turn it up manually to +7dB to get a decent amount of impact. I also had to switch the front speaker to small (surprised it set them to large by default)
On my pioneer I used only +3dB in the speaker setup and had the sub volume at about 7, compared to 10 I'm using now on the Denon.
Any explanation for this, it seems I have to turn up the sub volume much more than I should in speaker settings on the Denon to get acceptable base.
please let me know if I should post this question elsewhere,
