I'm looking at both, does anyone have a recommendation or preference on either? (Or should I look to spend a little extra and get the Denon 2112?)

Boils down to which is more important to you ... features (Onkyo) or audio fidelity (Denon). Any Denon AVR with Audyssey will have at least MultEQ which has 2x the speaker filters as 2EQ in the 515 and can EQ the sub, which 2EQ cannot do.

------------
"JD" - Call 585-645-1006 or email jd@avscience.com for AVR selection and pricing discussion 8am - 8pm EST daily (incl Sat/Sun)
Authorized dealer: Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Sony, Def Tech, Atl Tech, SVS, Oppo

Think you have a defective AVR? Owner's manual - Factory reset 4-5 times in a row.
