Hey guys, i am deciding between these 2 units. I have my own power amps which i will be using with either one. They both are pretty much future proof with a tonne of connections and features. They also both have Audyssey XT32. What would be the best bet? As far as i can tell, the Integra isn't too much more expensive.

Thanks!

Or a used Onkyo 5508, if you can get either of them under a grand.

The denon 4311 is 1299 from authorized dealers.

I have never seen the 4311 for that price from an authorized dealer. Which dealers are they?

If you want 11 channels out, then you need the Denon. The Integra can only do 9 channels out.

If you want 11 channels, I would wait for a receiver that supports 11 channel Neo:X since it looks like that will be the 11 channel standard. I don't know of any receivers that support it, but I would guess one or two will be out before the end of 2012.

Or just buy the 4311, which uses DSX and does 11 channels out as of two years ago (give or take a few months). No need to wait.

Any actual confirmations here in avsforum that orders were fulfilled and the 4311 received for that price? I did not see any such confirmations in the 4311 for $799 great deals thread.

Everyone here who tried were sent an email saying it was a pricing error and their orders were canceled.

Correct me if i am wrong, but aren't the low prices for open box ones? To be honest, i dont think i would want an open box model. I would rather pay a bit more and get a brand new one. Do the new ones ever go on sale for like $1,200?

Alos, i will never do 11.2, so i dont need that. The most i might do (which there is a 99% chance i wont even do this) is 9.2. I would be doing 7.2 for sure.

I bought one from Elec Expo a few weeks ago - yes, you need to actually call them - 1299 brand new with free shipping - use an Amex card for an additional one year of warranty,
