I have been researching receivers for a while and I've whittled the list down to 2. Any recommendations on which one I should pick? I have a power amp。 I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

SC-57+power amp or MRX 300+power amp ?

You might want to try the mrx-700 without a power amp to see how you like the sound.

Many Anthem owners purchased their receiver with the intention of using a separate amp and wound up not using external amplification.

if you are using external amplification, why are you not saving money by purchasing a MRX 300 as your pre/pro?

If you remove amplification from the equation, what does the extra 1000 bucks really buy you?

Unless you are playing extremely loud levels why the need for the amp and if you are running the amp anyway hope its at least double the power of the AVR's mentioned which
it would take at least 250wpc to get that extra 3db.
