Okay so I have a Denon 1912 hooked up to 2 psb bookshelf speakers for front l/r and a psb center. Everything works perfectly no issues I just have a question for a small detail from someone who might know. I only use xbox 360 elite or my ps3 through the hdmi ports, no cable no nothing but I use netflix and hulu from these devices as well as games. Because the sources being game devices, regardless of whether I am gaming or watching movies/tv, I have the audio setting to multi channel gaming...is this correct? Should I switch between this when I game and then a movie setting for when I use netflix and hulu or what? Looking for conformation or the correction. I know my receiver and speakers well, I've messed around a lot but I'd be lying if I said I could hear the subtle differences like some others can so I am here for help. Thanks in advance!

Use the surround mode you prefer. It's your AVR.

For more information on your 1912, join us in the Denon XX12 Owner's thread linked in my sig, especially reviewing posts 3-6.
