I have had this receiver for several weeks now. Overall, i am happy with it. Setup was pretty straight forward and easy. This was my first experience with an auto calibration system, and i belive YAPO did an above average job. Properly set all my speakers to small and got the distances correct. I did feel it set the sub and center channel too low but that was easily corrected. The airplay function has worked flawlessly. As soon as i opened up itunes on my PC i saw the airplay button in the corner with the option to play through my computer speakers or the "YamahaV673" Clicked on the receiver and have been streaming my music without a single interuption to date. Running all of my devices through it and using a single hdmi cable to connect to my tv. Hdmi pass through has worked great for my wife..she does not like to use the receiver and surroiund speakers to watch tv. My Zone two is located outside and easily controlled with the android app on my tablet. I have several complaints so far, none of which have made me regret my purchase. The lack of internet apps is disappointing, but as others have mentioned, will hopefully be updated in the future. I can still access Pandora through my blu ray player but it is another device that i have to turn on (one nice thing about the yamaha remote is the ability to learn and control your other devices, so at least i dont need multiple remotes). But when i play pandora through the blu ray player, the receiver is automatically set to play in a particular surround mode, so i have to manually change the function to a music mode in order to utilize all of my speakers equally. Another disappointing feature for me is the tuner function. When i am watching tv and i turn on the tuner on the receiver, it switches my tv to the tuner display. I would love the ability to watch tv and listen to the radio at the same time without running additional cables from the receiver to my tv. My father's new onkyo has this ability. His onkyo will turn on the tuner and allow you to see it's controls over the television picture. Maybe, there is a way to do this with the V673, but i have not found it yet. If anyone out there knows how let me know! I realize these things are trivial but i still wanted to point them out. But as i said, overall i am very happy with the purchase beacuse i belive the yamaha receivers of late have been built very well. I belive this receiver is no exception.
