Just picked one up one in excellent condition on an impulse buy for $250. It is rated at 250 watts at 8 ohms and 400 watts at 4 ohms. Not sure why it is a double rack module when I have seen single rack modules with even more power. Anyone have any thoughts on this amp? Was $250 a good deal? Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!

This amp is almost the same as a the hafler DH 500, only it has added balanced inputs and input level controls and clip lights. A very highly regaurded amp in some circles.Old school power, not like the new overseas hyped up power ratings. From the mid 80s

Do you think $250 was a fair price?
