Hi. The SR6006 spec sheet lists "Dual PLL Anti-jitter Circuit" as a feature, but the SR6007 spec sheet does not.

Spec sheet SR6006
http://us.marantz.com/DocumentMaster/US/SR6006_noxm.pdf

Spec Sheet SR6007
http://us.marantz.com/DocumentMaster/US/SR6007_0511.pdf

Can anyone confirm, with 100% certainty, if the SR6007 has the Dual PLL Anti-jitter Circuit?

Thank you

Hello Jay,

The SR6007 does not feature a Dual PLL Anti Jitter Circuit as the SR6006 did. The SR7007 would be the only receiver out of the new lineup to incorporate that feature.

Thank you,

Hi JayNYC,
So what is the impact of that? What was this "Dual PLL Anti Jitter Circuit" for? Is it a great loss?
Thanks!

jitter is a major issue in digital audio; however, the benefit of this circuit will largely be system dependent.

So, if I understand well, this impacts audio quality? Or is it related to lip-sync and making sure audio and video clocks are accurately similar?
Thanks for your answer!

Hi I talked on the phone for a long time with technical support in the Netherlands. They said that only in the model SR5007 no clock jitter reducer, but it does not affect the sound in general.
