Looking at possibly upgrading my receiver. My speakers are Klipsch high-sensitivity speakers and was wondering are there certain combinations that may work better or worse depending on the amp I'll use. I have been using the SR8200 Marantz model for about 10 years now.

Some may claim audible differences but all AVRs are pretty "flat" nowadays. I wouldn't worry about certain combinations.

Not with Klipsch, at least not their higher-sensitivity models.

Where you have to start double-checking is with low-impedance, low-efficiency speakers.
