I have Onkyo TX-NR809 that has Audyssey MULTI XT (room correction) and audyssey technologies (MULTI EQ and DYNAMIC VOLUME). As all know it also has Dolby Volume for volume adjustments and more.

After calibrating all the speakers thru MULTI XT and setting MULTI EQ ON and DYNAMIC VOLUME Medium, i feel sounds coming from all channels(Speakers).

When i use Dolby volume with Volume leveler OFF and HALF MODE OFF or Volume leveler MID and HALF MODE ON, I feel sound coming mostly from FRONT (L,C,R) but not surrounds.

I feel Dolby Volume is competitive technology for volume adjustments and want to feel it. Please provide your suggestions to get the best out of this technology (or) some one share your thoughts on Onkyo TX-NR809 using Dolby Volume.

My Speakers are Bose accoustimass 16 series II.
