Hi there,
I am currently trying to set up my 7.1 vsx 1326 pioneer to run in a 5.1 only setup. I am only running the one main zone, and my speakers are NOT bi-amped.
The problem i am having is when i run the mcacc full auto setup i am having trouble choosing which speaker setup t choose via the gui. the only option that shows a five speaker set up is one that says the fronts are bi-amped. All the other setups show 7 or more speakers, high fronts, or second rears, or second sides; all of which i do not have. so was i right in choosing the five speaker setup with front bi-amped even though they are not?

I have my center, two towers, sub, and surrounds. 5.1 goodness, which speakers setup do i choose?
Thanks for any info.

Also, is there a way to manually adjust treble, mid, and bass? Everything seems pretty automatic, and the manual is not that user friendly to me. thanks

Of course you can override it. User Manual p.69-70 Manual Speaker Setup lets you set SB to none.

Audiosceptics accept audio trials using 25 people. A recent Oxford study with over 353,000 patient records from 639 separate clinical trials shows for every 1,000 people taking diclofenac or ibuprofen there would be 3 additional heart attacks, 4 more cases of heart failure and 1 death every year.
