Hey, I have a quick question I was hoping I could get some help with.

I have my Panasonic GT50 hooked up to an RX-A810 receiver using ARC (Hdmi 2 from the tv).

ARC works but every time I turn off the tv it seems to reset (it shuts the receiver down with it). In order to get it working again on the receiver I need to go to setup and turn arc off, then back on and it works fine.

Any idea how to avoid needing to do this every time I turn on the tv?

If it's resetting then something is wrong with the implementation. Your best bet may simply be using an optical cable from the TV to the AVR which is actually the better connection as it will pass DD 5.1 from DD 5.1 sources (eg. Netflix) whereas the HDMI(ARC) connection will only pass PCM 2.0.

I'll give that a shot then.

Thanks
