I was all set to get the 2312CI from EE and then I heard that Costco carries the HTR-7065 for $479. Would be about $50 cheaper out the door then the 2312.

They have very similar features. Why should I go with the Denon over the Yamaha?

I am replacing a Onkyo TX-SR875 with one of these.

Why should I go with the Denon over the Yamaha?

Denon benefits
3 year warranty
Audyssey MultiEQ XT which also EQ's the subwoofer

Yamaha benefits
dual HDMI outputs
7.1 preouts to add an external amp.
Costco return policy

You'll have to decide which of those differences is more important to you.

If you use a sub in your setup, audio fidelity wise it would be a downgrade going to the Yamaha (ie. no sub EQ) while the Denon uses the same version of Audyssey as is used in your current Onkyo.
