Hi,

I recently purchased the 2113ci model. For some reason, I thought this receiver could connect to the Internet, such as pandora, but I thought it could do this with a wireless connection. However, everything I read in the manual states to use a wired LAN connection. Is there a way to connect the 2113ci to the Internet (or home network), via a wireless connection?

Thanks, tom

Yes, although a "wired" connection is suggested in the Owner's manual (to ensure signal integrity), you can also connect another router (ie. wireless bridge) directly to the AVR. Otherwise, Denon XX13 AVRs do not have wireless capability built in.

For more info on your new AVR, check out the Denon AVR-XX13 Owner's thread linked in my sig.

I have the AVR-2113CI. I am PC with Windows XP + Windows Media Player 11.

I know I have been able to get on the internet via a network entertainment bridge as I can get firmware updates that way and I have Internet Radio. My WMP can see the AVR in my Library >> Media Sharing Folder.

When I go to the Receiver to search for my .MP3's, I go to Network >> Server >> and all I see is " --empty".

Tech support for Denon won't help "Call Microsoft"; nothing in Microsoft Help (that's impossible to navigate, anyway).

This may be a simple matter of some settings on my WMP, or some other minor thing, or perhaps I just have to blow more dough to get a media server (NSA).

I have iTunes and an iPAD, but I don't understand how to use Airplay (if this even applies and if it is an alternative) - please forgive the "noobie" question - I am happy to pointed to another thread if it will answer the question.

Your help is appreciated.

Airplay is explained on p. 66 in your Owner's manual, while use of WMP 11 is explained on p. 51.

For more information on your 2113CI, join us in the Denon AVR-XX13 Owner's thread linked in my sig, especially reviewing posts #3-6 in that thread.
