I am looking to keep my PC hooked up to an amp for external speakers. The unit I am using now goes into standby mode after periods of inactivity & needs a manual power on press. It also will default to powered off after a power outage.

I am looking for something that will be able to provide an always on power button - a physical button that will be pressed on until it is manually pressed off.

What can I find that is inexpensive?

Audiosource Amp 100. It has an auto shutoff feature that you can simply disable with a switch on the back. I use one for my backyard speakers. My parents have 2 of these amps (1 for the backyard & another for the kitchen/living room). You should be able to get one for a great price through Amazon.
