For $100 with a phono input? Look for a good used receiver on Craigslist. I doubt there are any new receivers with phono inputs anywhere near $100.

And it won't power a sub. You'll have to provide your own powered sub. Nut yeah a used receiver off craiglsit is your best bet.

butter and jelly please.

Whatever receiver it is, it will have to be used. Nobody sells anything new like that.

Consider the Denon 1312 and add an external phono pre-amp to connect to any analog input.

Phono Pre-Amp.

But now you're into +$200.00 between the combined price of the AVR and Phono Pre-Amp which puts you back into used in order to get the price. I hate budgets.

Wolfetan44,

Now you can get a stereo receiver with a phono input for $100 but it doesn't have a line level sub output.
http://www.amazon.com/Sherwood-RX-4109-Stereo-Receiver-Black/dp/B000MBUSD6/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_2

If your subwoofer has speaker level inputs you could connect the bookshelf speakers to Speaker A outputs and the sub to Speaker B.

If your subwoofer has speaker level inputs AND outputs you could wire the receiver to the sub with speaker A outputs and then the bookshelf speakers directly to the subwoofer. You would then use the subwoofer crossover dial to set your crossover point.

What subwoofer do you have?
