I have had the Pioneer SC-55 for a month, but somehow I came to order an Anthem MRX 300...
I will be using it for movies only, and the main attraction for me is ARC
I just don't know if the difference between MCACC and ARC is big enough to justify an upgrade
I live in an apartment and don't need the massive power of the Pioneer
So what now?
Do I keep the Pioneer (which is good) and cancel the Anthem (which *may* be better)?
Any thoughts will be welcome

Last I checked MCACC did not correct for the subwoofer in its room correction software.

ARC in the Anthem will.

You should give the Anthem a go and see how you like its room correction software and overall performance.

At least try them both out and let your ears be the judge.
